Established in 2007, Montefiore Films is an audience-driven, 360 content creator focused on universal stories that are created, developed and produced for domestic and international marketplaces.
Montefiore Films is based in Toronto, Canada and headed by producer/creator, Mark Montefiore.

BIOGRAPHY

Producer/Creator
Mark Montefiore is a creative writer, director and producer with several award winning short films to his credit including his debut feature film as a producer, "EATING BUCCANEERS", that was theatrically released in Toronto & Vancouver, after having its US Premiere at the Chicago Just For Laughs Film Festival ('09).

The film has earned five Canadian Comedy Award nominations along with four other nominations for "HOTBOX"('09)a sketch comedy series for The Comedy Network that Mark was involved with in the capacity of production manager. A short film he produced, "THE ARMOIRE", received an honorable mention at the Toronto International Film Festival 2009 and had it's US Premiere at Sundance 2010. Mark is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre's Producers Lab ('06), the Berlinale Talent Campus ('10) and the CFC, Telefilm Canada/Just For Laughs' Comedy Lab ('10).

Mark is currently in production on a 13 episode (1/2 hour) sketch series that he is producing for Comedy Network & Breakthrough Entertainment called, "PICNICFACE". It is Executive Produced Garry Campbell (MadTV), Ira Levy and Peter Williamson (Less Than Kind, Kenny vs Spenny).

Montefiore Films Inc. has three projects in active development with Telefilm Canada, "IVY TURNBUCKLE" , "CAS & DYLAN" and "RAMINGTONS: MEN OF STEEL."
